Burger Assembly

Method

Prepare the Patty

  1. 1

    Season the Beef

In a bowl, combine the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Mix gently to combine.

  2. 2

    Form the Patty

Shape the seasoned ground beef into a round patty approximately 1/2 inch thick.

Cook the Patty

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill or Pan

Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat.

  2. 4

    Cook the Patty

Place the patty on the hot grill or skillet. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on one side, then flip it and cook for another 3-4 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).

Assemble the Burger

  1. 5

    Prepare the Bun

While the patty is cooking, slice the burger bun in half.

  2. 6

    Add Mayonnaise

Spread mayonnaise on the bottom half of the bun.

  3. 7

    Add Lettuce

Place the lettuce leaf on top of the mayonnaise.

  4. 8

    Add the Patty

Once cooked, place the beef patty on top of the lettuce.

  5. 9

    Top with Coney Sauce

Spoon the coney sauce over the patty.

  6. 10

    Complete the Burger

Place the top half of the bun on the burger to complete the assembly.
