Preparation of Bread

Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Slice the Baguette
Cut the baguette into 1/2-inch thick slices on a diagonal.

Brush with Olive Oil
Place the slices on a baking sheet and brush each slice lightly with olive oil.

Toast the Bread
Bake in the preheated oven for about 5-7 minutes, or until golden and crispy. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.

Chop Tomatoes
Dice the fresh tomatoes into small pieces and place them in a mixing bowl.

Chop Garlic
Minced the garlic cloves and add them to the bowl with the tomatoes.

Add Basil
Tear the fresh basil leaves (or chop them) and add to the tomato mixture.

Season the Mixture
Add salt, black pepper, and balsamic glaze to the bowl. Gently mix everything together until well combined.
Assembly

Top the Bread
Spoon a generous amount of the tomato mixture onto each toasted bread slice.

Garnish and Serve
Drizzle additional balsamic glaze on top if desired, and serve immediately.
