Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Dauphinoise Potatoes
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Slice the potatoes thinly and layer them in a buttered baking dish. In a saucepan, combine heavy cream, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Heat until just simmering, then pour over the potatoes. Top with grated Parmesan cheese and dot with butter. Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden and tender.
- 2
Cook the N.Y. Strip Steak
While the potatoes are baking, heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season the N.Y. strip steak with salt and black pepper. Once the oil is hot, add the steak and sear for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or adjust cooking time for your desired doneness. Let the steak rest for a few minutes before slicing.
- 3
Prepare the Lemon-Garlic Broccolini
In the same skillet, add broccolini and sauté for about 3-4 minutes. Add minced garlic and lemon juice, cooking for an additional 2 minutes until tender. Season with salt and pepper to taste and finish with lemon zest.
