    Preheat the Oven

    Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

    Mix Dry Ingredients

    In a bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

    Cream Butter and Sugars

    In a large mixing bowl, beat the unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together until creamy and smooth.

    Add Eggs and Vanilla

    Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.

    Combine Mixtures

    Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined. Do not overmix.

    Add Chocolate Chips

    Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the dough.

    Prepare Baking Sheet

    Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

    Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop rounded balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.
