Turkey Preparation

Prepare the Turkey
Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C). Rinse the turkey under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.

Rub the entire turkey with olive oil. Season generously with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and thyme, ensuring to cover all surfaces.

Once done, remove the turkey from the oven and allow it to rest for at least 30 minutes before pulling the meat apart.
Coleslaw Preparation

Mix Coleslaw Ingredients
In a large bowl, combine shredded cabbage, grated carrot, mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly coated.

Chill the Coleslaw
Cover and refrigerate the coleslaw for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

Prepare the Rolls
Slice the submarine rolls in half lengthwise.

Layer each roll with pulled turkey, a slice of provolone cheese, a generous scoop of coleslaw, a drizzle of Russian dressing, and a bit of additional mayonnaise.
