Method

Preparing the Fries

  1. 1

    Bake the Fries

Preheat your oven to the temperature indicated on the frozen fries package. Spread the frozen fries evenly on a baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil, and season with salt and black pepper. Toss to coat.

  2. 2

    Cook the Fries

Bake the fries in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until they are golden and crispy, flipping halfway through to ensure even cooking.

Cooking the Steak and Vegetables

  1. 3

    Prepare the Steak

While the fries are baking, heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Season the ribeye steak with salt and pepper and add it to the skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness.

  2. 4

    Sauté the Vegetables

Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes. In the same skillet, add the sliced onions, mushrooms, sweet bell pepper, and minced garlic. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender and slightly caramelized.

  3. 5

    Slice the Steak

Once the steak has rested, slice it thinly against the grain.

Assembling the Dish

  1. 6

    Combine Everything

Once the fries are cooked, remove them from the oven and layer them on a serving platter. Top with the sliced steak, sautéed vegetables, and shredded white American cheese.

  2. 7

    Melt the Cheese

Return the loaded fries to the oven for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  3. 8

    Garnish and Serve

Remove from the oven, sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley, and serve immediately while hot.
