Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Vegetables
Wash and chop all the vegetables. Ensure that the broccoli is cut into small florets, the carrot is sliced thinly, the bell pepper is sliced into strips, the snow peas are trimmed, and the zucchini is sliced into half-moons.
- 2
Make the Sauce
In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, minced ginger, cornstarch, water, and red pepper flakes until smooth and well combined.
Cooking
- 3
Heat the Pan
In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- 4
Stir Fry the Vegetables
Add the prepared vegetables to the skillet. Stir fry for about 5-7 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender-crisp. Stir frequently to ensure even cooking.
- 5
Add the Sauce
Pour the prepared sauce over the vegetables in the skillet. Stir well to coat all the vegetables with the sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
- 6
Serve
Remove the skillet from the heat and serve the vegetable stir fry hot. Enjoy it on its own or over a bed of rice or noodles.
