Method

Preparing the Ribeye Steak

  1. 1

    Season the Steak

Generously season the ribeye steak on both sides with kosher salt and black pepper.

  2. 2

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill or broiler to 1600°F (or as close as possible).

  3. 3

    Cook the Steak

Brush the steak with olive oil and place it on the grill. Cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side for medium-rare, depending on your grill's heat.

Preparing the Bacon Wrapped Jumbo Scallops

  1. 4

    Wrap the Scallops

Wrap each jumbo scallop with a slice of bacon, securing with a toothpick if necessary.

  2. 5

    Season the Scallops

Drizzle the scallops with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic powder and paprika.

  3. 6

    Cook the Scallops

Place the bacon-wrapped scallops on the grill or in a hot pan. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until the bacon is crispy and the scallops are opaque.

Preparing the Smoked Gouda Bacon Mashed Potatoes

  1. 7

    Boil the Potatoes

Peel and chop the potatoes into quarters. Boil in salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes.

  2. 8

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet, cook the bacon until crispy. Drain on paper towels and crumble.

  3. 9

    Mash the Potatoes

Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add the butter, heavy cream, smoked Gouda cheese, crumbled bacon, and salt. Mash until smooth and creamy.

Preparing the Asparagus

  1. 10

    Trim the Asparagus

Trim the tough ends of the asparagus spears.

  2. 11

    Season the Asparagus

Toss the asparagus with olive oil, salt, and black pepper.

  3. 12

    Cook the Asparagus

Grill or sauté the asparagus for about 5-7 minutes until tender but still crisp.

Preparing the Black Truffle Compound Butter

  1. 13

    Mix the Ingredients

In a bowl, combine the softened butter, black truffle oil, minced garlic, and chopped parsley. Mix until well combined.

  2. 14

    Chill the Butter

Transfer the mixture to a piece of parchment paper, roll it into a log shape, and chill in the refrigerator until firm.
