Make the Coffee Mixture

Prepare the Coffee
Brew 1 cup of strong coffee and let it cool slightly.

Mix in Sugar and Liqueur
Stir 2 tablespoons of sugar and 2 tablespoons of coffee liqueur into the warm coffee until dissolved. Set aside to cool completely.
Make the Cream Mixture

Whisk Egg Yolks
In a mixing bowl, whisk 3 egg yolks until they are pale and creamy.

Add Mascarpone
Add 1 cup of mascarpone cheese to the egg yolks and mix until smooth.

Whip the Cream
In a separate bowl, beat 1 cup of heavy cream with 1 tablespoon of confectioners' sugar and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract until soft peaks form.

Combine Mixtures
Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until fully combined.
Assemble the Tiramisu

Dip the Ladyfingers
Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the cooled coffee mixture, ensuring they are soaked but not soggy.

Layer the Ingredients
In a rectangular dish, layer half of the soaked ladyfingers at the bottom.

Add Cream Layer
Spread half of the mascarpone cream mixture over the ladyfingers.

Repeat Layers
Repeat the soaking and layering process with the remaining ladyfingers and mascarpone cream.

Dust with Cocoa
Sift 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder over the top layer of cream.
Chill and Serve

Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.

Cut into squares and serve chilled, optionally dusting with additional cocoa powder before serving.
