Ranch Dressing
Method
Prepare the Cauliflower Bites
- 1
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
- 2
Cut the Cauliflower
Remove the leaves and stem from the cauliflower head. Cut it into bite-sized florets, ensuring they are of uniform size for even cooking.
- 3
Make the Batter
In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and salt. Gradually whisk in the water and olive oil until you have a smooth batter.
- 4
Coat the Cauliflower
Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, ensuring it is fully coated. Shake off any excess batter and place the coated florets on the prepared baking sheet.
- 5
Bake the Cauliflower
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cauliflower is golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through.
- 6
Toss in Buffalo Sauce
Once the cauliflower is baked, remove it from the oven and toss it in the buffalo sauce until well coated. Return to the baking sheet.
- 7
Bake Again
Bake for an additional 10 minutes to set the buffalo sauce.
Prepare the Ranch Dressing
- 8
Combine Ingredients
In a medium bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, sour cream, buttermilk, dried dill, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
- 9
Whisk Until Smooth
Whisk the ingredients together until the mixture is smooth and well combined. Adjust seasoning to taste.
- 10
Chill the Dressing
Refrigerate the ranch dressing for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
