Prepare the Bread

Slice the Baguette
Using a serrated knife, slice the baguette into 1/2-inch thick slices.

Toast the Bread
Brush each slice of baguette with olive oil on both sides and place them on a baking sheet. Toast in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for about 5-7 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
Prepare the Toppings

Chop the Tomatoes
Dice the fresh tomatoes and place them in a mixing bowl.

Chop the Basil
Roughly chop the fresh basil leaves and add them to the bowl with the tomatoes.

Prepare the Garlic
Mince the garlic cloves and add to the tomato and basil mixture.

Add Remaining Ingredients
Add the mozzarella cheese (diced or shredded), balsamic vinegar, salt, and black pepper to the tomato mixture. Stir gently to combine all ingredients.
Assemble the Bruschetta

Top the Bread
Remove the toasted bread from the oven and let it cool slightly. Spoon the tomato mixture generously on top of each slice.

Arrange the bruschetta on a serving platter and serve immediately while the bread is still warm.
