Prepare the Ingredients
Roast the red bell peppers until charred, then peel and remove seeds. Toast the walnuts in a dry skillet for 5 minutes until fragrant.

Blend the Spread
In a food processor, combine the roasted red peppers, toasted walnuts, garlic cloves, ground cumin, Aleppo pepper, olive oil, lemon juice, and salt. Blend until smooth.

Adjust Seasoning
Taste the mixture and adjust the seasoning with more salt or lemon juice if needed. Blend again to combine.

Serve
Transfer the Muhammara to a serving bowl, drizzle with additional olive oil, and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Serve with mixed crudités and papadam.
