In the mixing glass, pour in 2 oz of aged rum, 1 oz of Campari, 0.5 oz of Velvet Falernum, and 0.5 oz of fresh lime juice.

Using a bar spoon, stir the mixture gently for about 15-20 seconds until well chilled and diluted to taste.

Using a strainer, pour the mixture into a chilled cocktail glass, ensuring that no ice cubes are transferred.
