Method

Preparing the Boba Pearls

1

Cook the Boba

In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Add 1 cup of boba pearls and stir gently to prevent sticking. Cook according to package instructions (usually around 5-7 minutes) until they become soft and chewy.

2

Sweeten the Boba

Once cooked, drain the boba pearls and rinse them under cold water. In a small bowl, mix the boba with 2 tablespoons of sugar or honey until well-coated and set aside.

Making the Bubble Slushies

Assemble the Slushies

In serving glasses, add a generous amount of sweetened boba pearls to the bottom. Pour the slushy mixture over the boba until the glass is nearly full.
