Preparing the Bread Pudding

Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Prepare the Bread
Cut the stale bread into 1-inch cubes and place them in a large mixing bowl.

Make the Custard Mixture
In another bowl, whisk together the whole milk, heavy cream, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and salt until well combined.

Combine Bread and Custard
Pour the custard mixture over the bread cubes, gently folding the bread to ensure all pieces are coated. Let it sit for about 15 minutes to absorb the custard.

Transfer to Baking Dish
Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish and pour the soaked bread mixture into it, spreading it evenly.

Bake the Pudding
Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.

Cool Before Serving
Once baked, remove from the oven and allow to cool for about 10 minutes before serving.
