Method

Beef Preparation

  1. 1

    Season the Steak

Pat the Jr. Sirloin steak dry with paper towels. Rub the steak with olive oil, then season both sides generously with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.

  2. 2

    Cook the Steak

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the steak and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until your desired doneness is reached. Remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

French Fries Preparation

  1. 3

    Prepare the Potatoes

Peel the potatoes and cut them into thin strips to resemble French fries. Rinse under cold water to remove excess starch and pat them dry with paper towels.

  2. 4

    Fry the Potatoes

In a large pot or deep fryer, heat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C). Carefully add the potato strips in batches, frying until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. Season with salt immediately.

Apple Sauce Preparation

  1. 5

    Prepare the Apples

Peel, core, and chop the apples into small pieces. Place them in a saucepan.

  2. 6

    Cook the Apple Sauce

Add sugar, cinnamon, and water to the saucepan with apples. Cover and simmer over low heat for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the apples are soft. Mash the apples with a fork or potato masher to your desired consistency. Let it cool before serving.
