Crab Cakes
Zesty Aioli
Method
Crab Cakes
- 1
Prepare the Crab Cake Mixture
In a large mixing bowl, combine the crab meat, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, chopped green onions, breadcrumbs, beaten egg, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until well combined.
- 2
Form the Crab Cakes
Using your hands, scoop about 1/4 cup of the mixture and form it into a patty. Repeat until all the mixture is used, placing the formed patties on a baking sheet.
- 3
Chill the Patties
Cover the baking sheet with plastic wrap and refrigerate the crab cakes for at least 30 minutes to help them hold their shape while cooking.
- 4
Cook the Crab Cakes
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Once hot, add the crab cakes in batches, cooking for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Remove and place on a paper towel-lined plate.
Zesty Aioli
- 5
