Method
Wings Preparation
- 1
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). This will ensure that your wings will cook thoroughly and become crispy.
- 2
Prepare the Chicken Wings
In a large bowl, combine chicken wings, salt, black pepper, and baking powder. Toss until the wings are evenly coated.
- 3
Arrange on Baking Sheet
Place the seasoned wings in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easy cleanup.
- 4
Bake the Wings
Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, turning halfway through, until the wings are crispy and golden brown.
- 5
Prepare the Buffalo Sauce
In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the unsalted butter and then stir in the hot sauce. Mix well until combined.
- 6
Toss Wings in Sauce
Remove the wings from the oven and place them in a large bowl. Pour the buffalo sauce over the wings and toss until evenly coated.
Blue Cheese Dressing Preparation
- 7
Combine Ingredients
In a medium bowl, combine blue cheese crumbles, mayonnaise, sour cream, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- 8
Mix Until Smooth
Use a fork to mash the blue cheese into the mixture and stir until smooth and well combined. Adjust seasoning to taste.
- 9
Chill the Dressing
Cover and refrigerate the dressing for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
Serving
- 10
Serve the Wings
Once the wings are coated in the buffalo sauce, serve them hot with the chilled blue cheese dressing on the side for dipping.
