Method
Dough & base
- 1
preheat
Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C). If you have a pizza stone, place it in the oven while preheating. If using a baking sheet, lightly oil it or line with parchment.
- 2
If the dough is refrigerated, let it sit at room temperature 20–30 minutes to relax. On a lightly floured surface, stretch or roll the dough into a 12-inch round (or size to fit your sheet/pan) leaving a slightly thicker edge for the crust.
- 3
Transfer the shaped dough to a pizza peel dusted with cornmeal (or to the prepared baking sheet). Brush the surface of the dough lightly with 1 tablespoon olive oil mixed with minced garlic, avoiding the outer rim.
- 4
Spread 3 tablespoons of pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a 1/2-inch border for the crust.
Cheese
- 5
Evenly sprinkle 2 cups shredded mozzarella over the sauced dough, distributing to the edges of the sauce. If using provolone, sprinkle the 1/2 cup provolone on top of the mozzarella for extra melt and flavor.
Meats
- 6
Evenly top the cheese with the sliced pepperoni (about 20 slices), crumbled cooked Graziano's® Italian sausage (3 oz), diced ham (3 oz), and cooked, drained ground beef (3 oz). Distribute the meats so each slice will have a mix of toppings.
- 7
If you haven't cooked the sausage or beef yet: cook sausage in a skillet over medium heat, breaking it up until browned and cooked through, 6–8 minutes; for the ground beef, brown and drain excess fat. Season lightly with salt and pepper as they cook.
Veggies & extras
- 8
- 9
Sprinkle 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano and 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes evenly over the top for seasoning.
Bake & finish
- 10
Slide the pizza onto the preheated stone or place the baking sheet in the oven. Bake at 475°F (245°C) until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly and lightly browned, 10–14 minutes depending on oven and thickness.
- 11
Remove the pizza from the oven. Let rest 2–3 minutes, then sprinkle with chopped fresh basil or parsley and 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan if using. Slice into 8 pieces and serve hot.
