Method
Base & Dough
- 1
Preheat and prepare dough
Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven while preheating. Lightly flour a work surface with the all-purpose flour. Stretch or roll the pizza dough into a 12-inch round (or desired shape) to about 1/4-inch thickness, leaving a slightly thicker edge for the crust.
Sauces & Cheese
- 2
Sauce and cheese layer
Spread the marinara sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a 1/2-inch border. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella evenly on top of the sauce, then dust with the grated Parmesan to help hold toppings.
Vegetable Toppings
- 3
Assemble vegetables
Distribute the sliced mushrooms, black olives, chopped onions, diced green pepper, and diced tomatoes evenly over the cheese layer. Arrange them so the toppings reach near the edge but do not overload a single area — aim for an even 3–4 mm layer so the pizza bakes evenly.
Amazing Garlic Butter
- 4
Make garlic butter
In a small saucepan or microwave-safe bowl, melt the unsalted butter over low heat or in 20-second microwave bursts. Stir in the minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Keep warm — do not let the garlic burn. Reserve about 1 teaspoon of the mixture for brushing the finished crust.
- 5
Baking
- 6
Bake the pizza
Transfer the assembled pizza to the preheated oven or pizza stone (use a pizza peel or inverted baking sheet). Bake for 10–14 minutes, rotating halfway, until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbling and slightly browned.
Finishing
- 7
Final garlic butter brush and season
Remove the pizza from the oven. Immediately brush the crust with the reserved garlic butter. Sprinkle the dried oregano or Italian seasoning over the top for extra aroma. Let the pizza rest 2 minutes.
- 8
Serve
Slice the pizza into 8 slices. Serve hot with ramekins of ranch dressing and extra marinara sauce on the side for dipping.
