Method

Beef Patty Preparation

  1. 1

    Mixing Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix gently with your hands until just combined.

  2. 2

    Forming Patties

Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, about 1 inch thick. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent puffing up during cooking.

Cooking the Patties

  1. 3

    Heating the Grill/Pan

Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil to the surface.

  2. 4

    Cooking the Patties

Place the patties on the hot grill or skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes for medium doneness, or until desired doneness is reached.

Assembling the Burger

  1. 5

    Toasting the Buns

While the patties are cooking, slice the brioche buns in half and toast them on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

  2. 6

    Building the Burger

Spread house sauce on the bottom half of each toasted bun. Place a lettuce leaf on top, followed by the cooked beef patty, a slice of tomato, and finally the top half of the bun.

  3. 7

    Serving

Serve the burgers immediately with your choice of sides.
