Prepare the Ribs
Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C). Remove the membrane from the back of the pork ribs and pat them dry with paper towels.

Season the Ribs
In a bowl, combine brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Rub the mixture all over the ribs and let them sit for at least 30 minutes.

Soak the Wood Chips
Soak the oak wood chips in water for at least 30 minutes before using them in the smoker.

Baste the Ribs
After 2 hours of smoking, baste the ribs with olive oil and apple cider vinegar mixture to keep them moist.

Continue smoking the ribs for the remaining 2 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 190°F (88°C).

Remove the ribs from the smoker, let them rest for 15 minutes, then slice and serve.
