Pork Preparation

1

Prepare the Pork

In a bowl, mix together brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper to create a spice rub.

2

Season the Pork

Rub the spice mixture all over the pork shoulder, ensuring it is evenly coated.

3

Cook the Pork

Place the seasoned pork shoulder in a slow cooker. Pour apple cider vinegar over the top. Cook on low for 8-10 hours or until the pork is tender and easily shreds with a fork.

4

Shred the Pork

Once cooked, remove the pork from the slow cooker and shred it using two forks. Mix in BBQ sauce to taste.

5

Prepare the Buns

Lightly toast the slider buns under a broiler or in a toaster until golden brown.

6

Cook the Bacon

In a skillet, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

7

Assemble the Sliders

On the bottom half of each slider bun, add a generous portion of the pulled pork, followed by a slice of cheddar cheese and a slice of bacon.

8

Add Condiments

Spread garlic aioli on the top half of the bun and mayonnaise on the bottom half. Close the sliders.

9

Serve

Arrange the sliders on a platter with extra BBQ sauce on the side for dipping.
