Fruit Juices

Method

Juice Preparation

  1. 1

    Orange Juice

Juice the fresh oranges using a juicer or manual juicing method until you have 4 cups of fresh orange juice. Strain if desired.

  2. 2

    Apple Juice

Wash and core the fresh apples. Cut them into quarters and run them through the juicer until you obtain 4 cups of juice. Strain if you prefer a smoother texture.

  3. 3

    Cranberry Juice

If using fresh cranberries, rinse them thoroughly. Combine the cranberries with 2 cups of water in a pot and boil for 10 minutes until they burst. Strain the mixture to extract the juice. If using frozen cranberries, simply blend them with water and strain.

  4. 4

    Grapefruit Juice

Peel the grapefruits and cut them in half. Use a citrus juicer to extract the juice from the grapefruit halves, yielding about 2 cups of juice. Strain if desired.

  5. 5

    Pineapple Juice

If using fresh pineapple, peel and core the pineapple, then cut it into chunks. Blend the chunks until smooth and strain to obtain 2 cups of pineapple juice. If using canned pineapple, blend the canned pineapple with its juice.
