Preparation Steps

  1. 1

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the smoked shoulder bacon until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Once cooked, remove from the skillet and place on paper towels to drain the excess fat.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Beef Patties

Form the grass-fed beef into two equal-sized patties, about 1 inch thick. Season both sides with salt and pepper to taste.

  3. 3

    Cook the Beef Patties

In the same skillet used for the bacon, increase the heat to medium-high. Cook the beef patties for about 4-5 minutes on one side until browned. Flip the patties and cook for another 3-4 minutes for medium-rare, adding the Boursin cheese on top during the last minute of cooking to melt.

  4. 4

    Toast the Rolls

While the patties are cooking, slice the Stella’s hot & spicy cheese bread rolls in half and toast them in the same skillet for 1-2 minutes until golden brown.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Burgers

On the bottom half of each toasted roll, place a beef patty topped with melted Boursin cheese, followed by 2 slices of crispy bacon and 2 tablespoons of bacon onion jam. Top with the other half of the roll.
