Burger Patty

Method

Prepare the Burger Patty

  1. 1

    Mix the Meat

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef with blackening seasoning. Mix well to ensure the seasoning is evenly distributed throughout the meat.

  2. 2

    Form the Patty

Divide the seasoned ground beef into two equal portions and shape each portion into a burger patty, about 1 inch thick.

Cook the Bacon

  1. 3

    Fry the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the cherrywood smoked bacon until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from skillet and drain on paper towels.

Cook the Burger

  1. 4

    Blacken the Patty

In the same skillet used for the bacon, increase the heat to high. Add the burger patties and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the desired doneness is achieved and a nice crust forms.

Assemble the Burger

  1. 5

    Add Cheese

During the last minute of cooking the patties, add the Mindoro creamery bleu cheese on top of each patty and cover the skillet to melt the cheese.

  2. 6

    Prepare the Bun

Toast the brioche buns lightly on the skillet until golden brown.

  3. 7

    Layer the Ingredients

Spread garlic aioli on the bottom bun, place the blackened burger patty with melted bleu cheese on top, add crispy bacon, and top with sliced red onion. Close with the top bun.
