In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix gently until just combined.

Prepare the Burgers

Divide the meat mixture into four equal portions and shape them into patties, making a slight indentation in the center of each patty.

Form Patties

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.

Cook the Patties

During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and cover to melt.

Add Cheese

Toast the burger buns if desired. On the bottom half of each bun, layer lettuce, the cooked patty, tomato slices, pickles, ketchup, and mustard. Top with the other half of the bun.

Assemble the Burgers

Peel the potatoes and cut them into chunks. Place them in a large pot and cover with cold water.

Prepare the Potatoes

Bring the water to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for about 15-20 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender.

Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add butter, milk, salt, and black pepper. Mash until smooth and creamy.

Chop fresh chives and fold them into the mashed potatoes before serving.

Garnish

In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine vodka, lemon juice, and simple syrup. Shake well.

Mix the Cocktail

Strain the mixture into a glass filled with ice and top with club soda.

Pour and Top

Garnish with a lemon wedge on the rim of the glass.

Chop the lettuce, slice the tomato and onion, and set them aside for later assembly.

Prepare the Ingredients

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until crispy. Remove and let drain on paper towels.

Cook the Bacon

In the same skillet, drain excess bacon fat, leaving about 1 tablespoon. Add the ground beef, season with salt and black pepper, and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.

Cook the Beef

Once the beef is cooked through, place the cheddar cheese on top of the beef and cover the skillet with a lid. Allow the cheese to melt, about 2 minutes.

Melt the Cheese

Place the cooked beef and melted cheese on the bottom half of each hamburger bun. Top with crispy bacon, lettuce, tomato, and onion. Drizzle with ketchup and mustard. Place the top half of the bun to complete the burger.
