Begin by brewing strong coffee. Allow it to cool to room temperature and mix in coffee liqueur. Set aside.

Prepare Filling
In a large bowl, whisk together egg yolks and granulated sugar until the mixture becomes pale and thick. Slowly add in the mascarpone cheese and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.

Whip Cream
In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until fully combined.

Dip Ladyfingers
Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the cooled coffee mixture, ensuring they are soaked but not soggy.

Layer Dessert
In a rectangular dish, create a layer of the dipped ladyfingers. Spread half of the mascarpone filling over the layer. Repeat with another layer of dipped ladyfingers and the remaining filling.

Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4-6 hours, preferably overnight for best results.
