Method
Brewing the Tea

Boil the Water
In a medium pot, bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil over high heat.

Steep the Tea
Once the water reaches a boil, remove it from the heat and add 4 black tea bags. Allow the tea to steep for 5-7 minutes, depending on your desired strength.

Remove the Tea Bags
After steeping, carefully remove the tea bags from the pot and discard them.
Sweetening the Tea

If desired, stir in 1 cup of granulated sugar, 1 tablespoon of honey, or 1 tablespoon of agave syrup while the tea is still warm. Mix until fully dissolved.
Cooling the Tea

Let the brewed tea cool to room temperature. Once cooled, transfer to a pitcher and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
Serving the Tea
