Cook the Pasta
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the penne pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Prepare the Vegetables
While the pasta is cooking, wash the grape tomatoes and cut them in half. Mince the garlic cloves and chop the fresh basil.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked penne pasta, halved grape tomatoes, minced garlic, and chopped basil. Drizzle the olive oil over the mixture and season with black pepper. Toss gently until everything is well combined.

Add Cheese
Fold in the shredded white cheddar and grated parmesan cheese into the pasta mixture until evenly distributed.
Baking

Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Transfer to Baking Dish
Transfer the pasta mixture to a greased baking dish, spreading it evenly.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with additional fresh basil if desired.
