Preparation Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Fish
Carefully slice the fresh tuna, salmon, yellowtail, mackerel, and scallops into thin pieces, about 1/4 inch thick. Make sure to use a sharp knife and a steady hand for clean cuts.
- 2
Arrange the Sashimi
On a chilled plate, arrange the sliced fish in an aesthetically pleasing manner. You can create a fan shape or a circular layout to highlight the different colors and textures of the fish.
- 3
Prepare the Miso Soup
In a small pot, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Add 2 tablespoons of miso paste and stir until dissolved. Optionally, add tofu cubes and seaweed for extra flavor.
- 4
Serve the Dish
Serve the sashimi alongside the miso soup, freshly grated wasabi, and a small dish of imported soy sauce for dipping. Optionally, serve with a house salad on the side.
