Cook the Spaghetti
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes.

Prepare the Pancetta
While the pasta is cooking, heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the pancetta and cook until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.

Mix Eggs and Cheese
In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, grated Parmesan cheese, and black pepper until well combined.

Combine Pasta and Pancetta
Once the spaghetti is cooked, reserve 1 cup of pasta water and drain the rest. Quickly add the hot pasta to the skillet with the pancetta and toss to combine.

Adjust Sauce Consistency
If the sauce is too thick, gradually add reserved pasta water until you reach the desired creamy consistency.

Serve the spaghetti carbonara immediately, garnishing with chopped fresh parsley and additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
