Pasta

Method

Cooking Pasta

  1. 1

    Boil the Pasta

In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add salt and pasta, cooking until al dente according to package instructions, about 8-10 minutes. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.

  2. 2

    Drain the Pasta

Once cooked, drain the pasta in a colander and set aside. Reserve about 1 cup of pasta water for later use.

Sautéing Vegetables

  1. 3

    Heat Olive Oil

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.

  2. 4

    Add Garlic

Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.

  3. 5

    Cook Vegetables

Add zucchini, bell pepper, and carrot to the skillet. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender.

  4. 6

    Add Spinach and Tomatoes

Stir in cherry tomatoes and spinach, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes until spinach wilts and tomatoes soften.

Combining Ingredients

  1. 7

    Mix Pasta with Vegetables

Add the drained pasta to the skillet with the sautéed vegetables. Toss to combine, adding reserved pasta water a little at a time to achieve desired consistency.

  2. 8

    Season the Dish

Stir in grated Parmesan cheese, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Mix well to combine and heat through for another 2 minutes.

Serving

  1. 9

    Plate and Serve

Serve the Pasta Primavera hot, garnished with additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
