Prepare the Glass
Rim the edge of a chilled margarita glass with a lime wedge and dip it into coarse sea salt to coat the rim.

Mix the Cocktail
In a cocktail shaker, combine 2 oz of tequila, 1 oz of fresh lime juice, 0.5 oz of agave syrup, and 1 oz of orange liqueur. Fill the shaker with ice.

Shake
Secure the lid on the cocktail shaker and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds until well chilled.

Strain and Serve
Strain the mixture into the prepared margarita glass filled with ice or serve straight up, depending on your preference.

Garnish with a lime wedge on the rim of the glass.
