Prepare
Chill a rocks glass by filling it with ice and set aside.

In a cocktail shaker, combine Knob Creek Single Barrel Bourbon (60 ml), fresh lemon juice (30 ml), and simple syrup (15 ml). Add ice to the shaker (enough to fill halfway).

Shake vigorously for 8-12 seconds until well chilled.

Strain the mixture into the previously prepared rocks glass over fresh ice.

Taste and adjust with a dash more lemon juice or simple syrup if desired, then serve.
