Combine and chill
In a mixing glass, add Basil Hayden's 90 Proof bourbon, apple cider, fresh lemon juice, cinnamon maple syrup, and orange bitters. Add ice and stir gently until well-chilled and lightly diluted, about 20–30 seconds.

Prepare serving glass
Fill a rocks glass with fresh ice to chill.

Strain
Strain the cocktail mixture over the prepared ice in the rocks glass.

Garnish
Garnish with a cinnamon stick and a thin apple slice. Express the oils from an orange twist over the drink and drop the twist in.
