Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Linguine

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the linguine and cook according to package instructions or until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. 2

    Sauté the Aromatics

In a large skillet or pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

  3. 3

    Add the Seafood

Add the shrimp, mussels, clams, and scallops to the skillet. Cook for about 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the shrimp are pink and the mussels and clams open up.

  4. 4

    Incorporate the Sauce

Pour in the spicy crushed tomatoes and bring to a simmer. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Stir in the chopped basil and let simmer for an additional 5 minutes.

  5. 5

    Combine with Linguine

Add the cooked linguine to the seafood mixture in the skillet. Toss everything together gently until the linguine is well coated with the sauce.

  6. 6

    Serve

Plate the Frutti di Mare and garnish with additional fresh basil if desired. Serve immediately.
