1. Prepare glass (optional)
If you prefer a salted or tajín-rimmed glass, rub a grapefruit wedge around the rim of a highball or Collins glass, then dip the rim into a shallow plate with salt or tajín. Fill the glass with ice and set aside.
2. Combine base ingredients
In a cocktail shaker, add 2 oz Jose Cuervo Tradicional® Blanco tequila, 2 oz fresh grapefruit juice, 0.5 oz fresh lime juice, and 0.5 oz agave syrup.
3. Shake
Add enough ice to the shaker (about 1 cup) and shake vigorously for 10–12 seconds until well chilled and slightly diluted.
4. Strain over ice
Strain the shaken mixture into the prepared highball/Collins glass filled with fresh ice.
5. Top with prosecco
Gently pour 3 oz chilled Santa Margherita Prosecco over the strained cocktail to preserve bubbles. Stir once gently with a bar spoon to integrate.
