Heat the Roast Beef
In a separate pan, heat the sliced roast beef over medium heat until warmed through, about 5-7 minutes. If desired, add a splash of beef broth to keep it moist.

Prepare the Gravy
In a saucepan, heat the brown gravy over medium heat until hot, stirring occasionally. If the gravy is too thick, add a little water or broth to reach the desired consistency.

On each slice of toasted Texas bread, layer the warmed roast beef. Serve each open-faced sandwich with a generous scoop of mashed potatoes on the side, and smother everything in hot brown gravy.
