Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Ham
Preheat your oven to 160°C (325°F). Score the surface of the ham in a diamond pattern and place it in a roasting pan.
- 2
Make the Glaze
In a bowl, mix together the brown sugar, honey, Dijon mustard, and ground black pepper until well combined.
- 3
Apply the Glaze
Spread the glaze evenly over the scored surface of the ham. Insert cloves into the intersections of the score marks.
- 4
Roast the Ham
Cover the ham loosely with aluminum foil and roast in the preheated oven for about 1.5 hours, basting every 30 minutes with the pan juices.
- 5
Finish Roasting
Remove the foil during the last 30 minutes to allow the glaze to caramelize. The ham is done when a meat thermometer reads 70°C (160°F).
- 6
Serve
Let the ham rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing. Serve warm as a side dish or on its own.
