Method

Prepare Fruit

  1. 1

    Wash and dry

Rinse all fruit under cold running water. Pat dry thoroughly with paper towels or a clean kitchen towel to prevent dilution of the dressing.

  2. 2

    Hull and cut strawberries

Remove strawberry stems and cut them into quarters (or halves for very small berries). Place in a large mixing bowl.

  3. 3

    Prep berries, kiwi, and mango

Add blueberries to the bowl. Peel kiwis, slice into rounds then halve if desired, and add. Peel and dice the mango into roughly 1/2-inch pieces and add to the bowl.

  4. 4

    Add grapes and seasonal fruit

Halve large grapes and add to the bowl. If using an additional seasonal fruit (peaches, plums, pineapple), dice it into similar-sized pieces and add to the bowl.

Make Dressing & Combine

  1. 5

    Mix dressing

In a small bowl or measuring cup, whisk together the fresh lime juice, honey (or maple syrup), orange zest, chopped mint, and a pinch of fine sea salt until the honey dissolves and the mixture is well combined.

  2. 6

    Dress the fruit

Pour the dressing over the prepared fruit in the large mixing bowl. Gently toss with a large spoon or rubber spatula to coat all fruit pieces evenly, taking care not to mash soft berries.

  3. 7

    Taste and adjust

Taste a small spoonful of the dressed fruit. If it needs more brightness, add an additional 1/2 teaspoon lime juice. If it needs more sweetness, stir in up to 1 teaspoon more honey or maple syrup.

  4. 8

    Chill briefly (optional)

For best flavor melding, cover the bowl and refrigerate for 15–30 minutes. If serving immediately, you can skip chilling and serve right away.

Assemble & Serve

  1. 9

    Portion fruit

Spoon the dressed seasonal fruit into individual bowls or a single large serving bowl.

  2. 10

    Add toppings

If using, add a dollop (about 1/4 cup) of Greek or coconut yogurt to each portion. Sprinkle with toasted granola, chopped toasted nuts, and a pinch of chia seeds for texture.

  3. 11

    Garnish

Garnish with a few whole mint leaves and serve with lemon or lime wedges on the side for extra brightness.

  4. 12

    Storage

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Note that softer fruit may release juices over time; stir gently before serving.
