Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Tagliolini

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the tagliolini pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 5-7 minutes. Once cooked, drain and set aside, reserving a cup of pasta water.

  2. 2

    Sauté the Rock Shrimp

In a large wok or skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of chili garlic oil over medium-high heat. Add the rock shrimp and sauté for about 3-4 minutes or until they turn pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp from the wok and set aside.

  3. 3

    Cook the Cherry Tomatoes

In the same wok, add the remaining tablespoon of chili garlic oil. Add the cherry tomatoes and sauté for about 2-3 minutes until they start to blister and soften.

  4. 4

    Combine Ingredients

Return the sautéed rock shrimp to the wok with the cherry tomatoes. Add the cooked tagliolini, tossing everything together. If the pasta seems dry, add a little reserved pasta water to achieve the desired consistency.

  5. 5

    Add Puttanesca Breadcrumbs

Sprinkle the puttanesca breadcrumbs over the pasta mixture and toss well to combine. Cook for an additional minute to let the breadcrumbs toast slightly and absorb flavors.

  6. 6

    Serve

Plate the wok-fried arrabbiata and serve immediately, garnished with additional chili garlic oil if desired.
