Pumpkin Spice Mixture Preparation

1

Prepare Pumpkin Spice Mixture

In a small bowl, combine pumpkin puree, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, ground ginger, and granulated sugar. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well combined. Set aside.

Beverage Assembly

2

Combine Ingredients

In a cocktail shaker, add the Old Forester Bourbon, espresso, simple syrup, and orange bitters. Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.

3

Strain and Serve

Strain the mixture into a chilled rocks glass filled with ice. Spoon about a tablespoon of the prepared pumpkin spice mixture on top of the cocktail.

Garnishing

4

Garnish the Cocktail

Twist the orange peel over the drink to release its oils, then drop it into the glass. Add a cinnamon stick for garnish. Serve immediately.
