Muddle the Sugar
In an old fashioned glass, place the sugar cube and add the dashes of Angostura bitters. Muddle together until the sugar is dissolved.

Add Bourbon
Pour in the bourbon over the muddled sugar and bitters.

Add Ice
Add ice cubes to the glass.

Garnish
Stir gently to combine. Garnish with a slice of orange peel and a maraschino cherry on top.
