Combine Ingredients
In a mixing glass filled with ice, pour 2 oz of gin and 1 oz of dry vermouth.

Stir the Mixture
Stir the mixture gently for about 30 seconds until well chilled.

Strain into Glass
Remove the ice from the chilled martini glass and strain the mixture into it.

Garnish
Garnish with an olive or a lemon twist as desired.
