Pork Ribs

Method

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Rub

In a bowl, mix together the brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and cayenne pepper to create a dry rub.

  2. 2

    Season the Ribs

Pat the pork ribs dry with paper towels. Rub the dry mixture generously over both sides of the ribs. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes or up to overnight in the refrigerator.

  3. 3

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 150°C (300°F).

  4. 4

    Cook the Ribs

Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Cover the ribs with another piece of foil and bake for 2.5 to 3 hours, until tender.

  5. 5

    Add Sauce and Finish

Remove the ribs from the oven and discard the top layer of foil. Brush the ribs with apple cider vinegar and then barbecue sauce. Return to the oven uncovered and bake for an additional 30 minutes.

  6. 6

    Serve

Once done, let the ribs rest for 10 minutes. Slice and serve with additional barbecue sauce on the side.
