Method
Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Romaine Lettuce
Wash the romaine lettuce thoroughly under cold water to remove any dirt or sand. Pat the leaves dry with a clean kitchen towel or use a salad spinner to remove excess water.
- 2
Chop the Lettuce
Once dried, chop the romaine lettuce into bite-sized pieces and place it in a large salad bowl.
Assembly
- 3
Add Caesar Dressing
Drizzle the Caesar dressing over the chopped romaine lettuce. Use a pair of salad tongs or two forks to gently toss the lettuce and dressing together, ensuring all leaves are well coated.
- 4
Incorporate Toppings
Sprinkle the croutons over the dressed lettuce, followed by the grated Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese. Toss lightly to combine, ensuring an even distribution of toppings.
Serving
- 5
Serve the Salad
Transfer the Caesar salad to individual serving plates or bowls. Optionally, you can add extra croutons and a sprinkle of Parmigiano-Reggiano on top for garnish.
