For the Hanger Steak

Prepare the Steak
Remove the hanger steak from the refrigerator and let it come to room temperature for about 30 minutes. Pat the steak dry with paper towels.

Add Garlic
During the last minute of grilling, add whole garlic cloves to the grill to infuse flavor.

For the Garlic Butter

Prepare Garlic Butter
While the steak is resting, melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Add minced garlic and a pinch of salt, and cook for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.

Add Parsley
Remove from heat and stir in the chopped fresh parsley. Set aside to keep warm.
For the Truffle Fries

Prepare the Potatoes
Wash and peel the russet potatoes. Cut them into thin strips to make fries.

Soak the Fries
Soak the cut fries in a bowl of cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch. Drain and pat dry.

Season the Fries
Remove fries from the oil and place them on paper towels to drain. While still hot, toss with salt and drizzle with truffle oil. Sprinkle with chopped parsley.
