Prepare the Garlic Mixture

Mince the Garlic
Peel and mince the garlic cloves finely using a knife or garlic press.

Mix Ingredients
In a small bowl, combine the minced garlic, softened butter, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well blended.
Prepare the Bread

Slice the Baguette
Cut the baguette in half lengthwise to create two long pieces.

Toast the Bread

Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Bake the Bread
Place the prepared baguette halves on a baking sheet, cut side up, and bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden and crispy.
Prepare the Marinara Sauce

Add Tomatoes and Seasonings
Add the canned crushed tomatoes, dried oregano, dried basil, and salt to the pan. Stir to combine.

Simmer the Sauce
Reduce the heat to low and let the sauce simmer for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Plate the Garlic Bread
Remove the toasted garlic bread from the oven and let it cool slightly before slicing into pieces.

Serve the garlic bread warm with a side of the marinara sauce for dipping.
