Burger Patties

Duro Chips

Method

Prepare the Burger Patties

  1. 1

    Mix the Beef

In a bowl, combine the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Mix gently to avoid overworking the meat.

  2. 2

    Form Patties

Divide the beef mixture into two equal portions and form them into loosely packed balls.

Cook the Patties

  1. 3

    Preheat the Pan

Heat a cast-iron skillet or griddle over medium-high heat until very hot.

  2. 4

    Sear the Patties

Place the beef balls on the hot skillet. Using a spatula, smash each ball down to form a thin patty. Cook for about 2-3 minutes until a crust forms.

  3. 5

    Flip and Add Cheese

Flip the patties and immediately place a slice of American cheese on each one. Cook for another 1-2 minutes until the cheese melts.

Assemble the Burger

  1. 6

    Prepare the Bun

Toast burger buns lightly if desired.

  2. 7

    Layer Ingredients

On the bottom bun, add a layer of lettuce, followed by the cooked patties with melted cheese. Top with sliced white onion and drizzle guac sauce and burger spread. Finally, place the top bun.

Serve with Duro Chips

  1. 8

    Plate the Dish

Serve the assembled Pachola Burger alongside a generous portion of Duro chips.
